Browser Authentication
Scala browser authentication with memory or shared PostgreSQL persistence
Browser Authentication
Spoonbill coordinates browser authentication in Scala through BrowserAuthentication[F, S, P]. Applications supply account policy and host transactions; the coordinator connects them to HTTP rendering, WebSocket ownership, typed actions, cookie delivery and presentation storage without application authentication JavaScript.
Use the memory provider for an in-process deployment, or the optional spoonbill-security-jdbc module for PostgreSQL integration. Explicit shared PostgreSQL mode supports multiple live web nodes with fenced view ownership and an application-defined presentation projection.
Official Guides and Example
The example shares its Scala UI across cats-effect IO and Future implementations. Its accounts, factors and keys are synthetic fixtures. Keep every Spoonbill module on version 7.0.0 and follow the deployment contract in the official guides.
